Job Summary:

The Rheumatology Clinic Advanced Practice Provider will serve as a Full Time Advanced Practice Provider to provide care to patients within the Rheumatology Clinic at the University Health Care Center.  Responsibilities include providing expert level clinical care & coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care assessing & evaluating patients, ordering appropriate laboratory testing & diagnostic studies, arranging for referrals, testing, consultation & therapeutic services, and maintaining outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians & all members of the health care team.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant & current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment. Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Ambulatory Clinic and/or Rheumatology experience

Work Days:

Monday-Friday days with possible evening hours
