| Job Summary: |
Under the general guidance of the Billing Manager, the Senior Patient Accounting Analyst is responsible for monitoring, auditing and identifying negative trends in the billing area to ensure timely and compliant submission of claims to all payers based on contractual and regulatory requirements. The Senior Patient Accounting Analyst will provide support to staff in the respective areas as needed. The Senior Patient Accounting Analyst will notify the billing Manager of any disruptions or events resulting in an inability to meet department goals. Special projects may be assigned by the Director of Third Party Billing as needed. |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
Associates Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare or related field and three (3) or more years of progressive healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills necessary. Strong working knowledge of billing policies.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
Associates degree and two (2) or more years of healthcare billing experience preferred.
