Job Summary:

The HR Specialist will be responsible for processing all MedBest leaves of absence to include coordination of FMLA, disability, workers’ compensation, NYS paid family leave, COVID and sick leave, as well as tracking accruals, benefit premiums and accurate payroll processing.

Ensure relevant policies are managed according to current regulations. An in-depth understanding of leave administration and benefits coordination is required. Must be solution driven and work collaboratively within the HR team. Must be able to address difficult situations calmly and clearly, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities. Must have professional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ethical behavior, maintaining strict confidentiality and developing trust.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and at least two years of benefits/leave administration experience. Must have ADP experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word, and excellent organizational skills. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Proficiency with ADP software and reporting strongly preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, daytime hours
