Job Summary:

The Policy/Document Control Coordinator is responsible for policy & form control and maintenance coordination. Policy and document control includes ongoing setup/formatting, detailed critical policy review for cross referencing and accuracy, and uploading and maintenance of controlled documents. Will review and be responsible for coordination of policies and other forms and documents throughout the approval process. Will train other staff on the system and reviews policies for standards and to support correct formatting and references needed. Makes sure that policies do not contradict or duplicate other policies and helps with policy retrievals during accreditation surveys and accreditation reviews. Coordinates policy maintenance with other maintainers and provides administrative back up functions in MCN to support the software system and its audit and backup functions. Manages archives of all policies and forms and communicates changes with policy change notices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree with a minimum of three years relevant experience in a business or healthcare related field or Bachelors degree with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a business or healthcare related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with healthcare policies, software system maintenance and project management preferred.
