Job Summary:

This position performs wide variety of routine clerical duties in support of the office requiring frequent contact with patients and their families.  Duties include scheduling, registration, visit preparation and billing.  Will interview patients and obtain financial, registration and demographic information, arrange and schedule appointments; explain appointments and general process to patients. Responsible to obtain and complete documentation and reports tied to department operations.   

Minimum Qualifications:

New York State Department of Civil Service Eligible List or eligible for transfer. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Accounts Billing and Coding experience desirable.

Work Days:

Monday- Friday, Days

Salary:  $41,399
